IPD-8/16HR digital video recorder is a high performance real-time multi-tasking operating system and an embedded processor using Texas Instruments Davinci Technology, to perfectly implement all the functions needed to build a surveillance system. IPD-8/16HR adopts H.264 technology, a new video compression scheme that gradually becomes the worldwide digital video standard. The IPD-8/16HR DVR integrates a VGA monitor output and mouse operating capabilities, along with a user-friendly interface. High Definition image during backup and playback is required makes it the first choice for many police forces and very suitable applications such as military, prisons and banks.
The IPD-8/16HR also comes with network monitoring software which allows the user to have remote access and control of the digital video recorder over the network.
